I have baked at least 10 loaves in these, I love them. The only thing you have to watch out for is if you spray any kind of release oil into the pans, the two little weep holes will allow oil into the bottom of your oven. Make sure you put a cookie sheet in the rack below with some foil on it.

How did I ever make sandwich bread without a Pullman pan? I absolutely love it. My sourdough loaves bake up beautifully. The lid keeps it from rising too much and getting unnecessary air pockets inside. The loaf comes out easily. I ordered the 2 lb pan as well.

I am a sourdough baker and wanted to make a loaf of bread that would a. fit in the toaster, and b. be easy to slice for my bread-slicing challenged husband. This pan does the trick! I have used butter all but one time, and the non-stick coating works very well...but the butter makes it taste better=) I used my go-to sourdough sandwich bread recipe and it happened to work out great for this size pan.
